The start

Tuesday 9th Jan

Today, we woke up around 4am, after 4 hours of sleep. After saying our goodbyes to Gail, Granny and Grandpa, we set off on our journey to Heathrow. We arrived with plenty of time and a few hours sleep in the car. As we checked in, I was over the maximum weight by about four kilos, Ruth was twenty exactly, and Izzy was slightly under. After Breakfast and a spillage of coffee, Dad posted a blog on the blog site. We boarded at ten to twelve, and took off at quarter past. It was the shortest plane journey in the history of the Earth! We got the coach to the GO conference centre, registered and got assigned to our room. The room is really cool! When you go in, theree is a lounge area and cupboards and a sink. Then you go up some stairs and there is two bunk beds and a single bed. Me and Izzy took the top bunks and Ruth took the single bed. We then went down to dinner where we had: weird carrot stuff, cheese, ham, ricee, bread and pizza. For pudding we had apple and cinnamon, with chocolate sauce and cream. I am writing this at eight forty three, after coming back from the welcome conference early.

Hi there Tessa, I have just found your blog. It is GREAT, keep it up as we love to hear about what you are up to. Love you lots.(It was so cold here in AZ that our water pipes were frozen solid on Sunday morning. Grandpa had to get the hairdryer out!
